Testimonials
Twenty-two years ago Rob Groeschen sat at his older brother's bedside, praying for a miracle. Tom Groeschen had been in a near-fatal automobile accident and was in a coma. Rob and his family's prayers were answered:. Tom regained consciousness. He had, however, suffered a traumatic brain injury that would change the course of his life and would forever affect the Groeschen family.
Early on there was much excitement about Tom's recovery; friends visited, sent cards and prayed for him. In time, however, old friends fall away and people move on. But Rob's family struggled continuously to overcome the obstacles and meet the challenges in managing Tom's changed behavior, securing effective rehabilitation services and providing Tom with a good quality of life.
These struggles were the impetus for organizing InRETURN. In November of 2004, Rob, now a successful businessman, brought to fruition his belief that giving back - recognizing and sharing our blessings - is one of our most important responsibilities, and he chose a cause that was close to his heart.
InRETURN was formed to surpass traditional services for survivors of traumatic brain injury, and other individuals with special needs, by providing services that address the uniqueness of each client and by making the family the core of the solution. Every service that InRETURN provides is tailored to client's individuality, skills, interests, support system, desires and potential.
All of the programs and activities of InRETURN are influenced by Rob's experience and philosophy. The goals: to restore lost dignity and diminished self-esteem; to provide employment that is fulfilling; to provide opportunities to build new relationships and achieve personal independence; to help those who want to reclaim their hopes and dreams and again experience the joys of life. These goals reflect the aspirations Rob and his family have had for Tom over these many difficult years.
Our first client, Tom Groeschen, is thankful for his improved employment opportunities and is enjoying new friends in a supportive environment. His pride and excitement are obvious as he watches and experiences the growth of this organization, founded in his honor.
Rob understands that happiness is fragile and that only through the help and participation of those who think in terms larger than their own self-interest can InRETURN achieve its mission to enrich the lives of individuals with special needs.
So, to our friends and associates, we proudly, yet humbly introduce

And we ask for your support
